Ground Broken on Memorial to Fallen Gulf War Seabees

On June 15, 2009, members of the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 27 broke ground on the first non-military memorial to honor U.S. Navy Seabees killed in the Gulf Wars. The new Gulf War Seabee Memorial will be on the grounds of the Seabee Museum and Memorial Park in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.
