QDC’s Chief Operating Officer Chelsea Siefert was named Providence Business News’ Government “Woman to Watch” at this year’s Women in Business awards.

“Chelsea is a dedicated public servant and a valued mentor. She is committed to supporting those around her, especially her female colleagues,” said Steven J. King,

“Many women don’t ask for what they want.” Siefert, who mentors the next generation of young women as a Girl Scout leader, told PBN. “I listen to what [women] are saying and try to help them speak up for themselves and learn to trust their own voices.”

“From attracting new businesses, to managing the Business Park’s largest infrastructure projects, to leading and inspiring the entire QDC team — Chelsea’s work makes Rhode Island a better place,” King added.
