QDC has proposed a workforce housing project in Quonset Business Park’s Gateway District. The proposed plot is 6.8 acres near the entrance to the Park. The Gateway District also includes a grocery store and other retailers, as well as a hotel and access to Rhode Island Public Transit Authority bus service and direct access to Routes 1, 4, and I-95.
Following three public meetings held by the Town of North Kingstown, QDC is in the process of reviewing proposals from interested developers and selecting a plan that will best address the critical housing needs for North Kingstown and the Quonset workforce.
