Steven J. King is recognized for environmental excellence at Quonset

The New England Water Environment Association (NEWEA) has awarded Steven J. King, P.E., the Elizabeth A. Cutone Executive Leadership Award for executive leadership of an environmentally focused organization.

As managing director of the Quonset Development Corporation, King has overseen the successful implementation of major projects related to water, stormwater and wastewater utility management. Under his leadership, the Quonset Wastewater Treatment Facility has received numerous awards for excellence in water quality and compliance.

King has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to the environment and the public health of the Quonset community and its neighbors, according to NEWEA.
