Anduril Sets Down Roots at Quonset

Anduril Ribbon Cutting

Quonset has been the birthplace of most of the U.S. Navy’s crewed submarine fleet for fifty years. So, it is only fitting that Anduril Industries has come to Quonset to build on that legacy as the company works to augment the Navy’s undersea capabilities.

Anduril’s new 150,000-square-foot facility will support the full rate production of multiple product lines of unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs) and immediately increase production capacity for its large-diameter line of UUVs to more than 200 hulls per year. Opening in late 2025, the facility will create more than 100 new, good-paying jobs in Rhode Island and deliver the next generation of American military technology.
