The Quonset Development Corporation has been awarded $11.25 million in federal funding to support submarine shipbuilding, automobile imports and other port activities at Quonset’s Port of Davisville.

The Port Infrastructure Development Program award will be used to upgrade port facilities that support economic growth now and in the future.

These funds were made available to us thanks to the continued strong support of Rhode Island’s congressional delegation – Senator Jack Reed, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, Congressman Seth Magaziner and Congressman Gabe Amo.
