QDC Delivers New Headquarters for RI National Guard

Quonset’s origin story is steeped in military history, as the Business Park was once two naval bases and the original home of the U.S. Navy Seabees. Today, we strive to bring the Seabees’ “Can Do!” spirit to everything we do – which includes serving as the home of the Rhode Island Air National Guard.

Quonset was proud to sponsor and deliver a new, state-of-the-art headquarters for the Air National Guard’s 143rd Airlift Wing. The new building includes world-class dining and medical facilities, modern office space and the ability to serve as a fully capable emergency operations center in the event of a crisis or natural disaster. The next generation of airmen will work, train and gather in this facility for decades to come.
