Six years of partnership with Rhode Island Energy

QDC RIE Partnership

Quonset’s partnership with Rhode Island Energy (RIE) is in its sixth year and continues to advance the goals of maximizing the efficiency and sustainability of all Quonset businesses. To date, RIE has invested more than $7M in energy efficiency projects at Quonset facilities, which has saved more than 26M kilowatt-hours of electricity and 350,000 gas therms and reduced these Quonset businesses’ energy bills by $5M. These programs are available for customers of all types and sizes.

Energy efficient operation is an ongoing process that involves both capital projects (e.g., new buildings and equipment) and more regular maintenance (e.g., compressed air systems, building controls). Customers who have participated in the past should reach out to learn what’s new and how RI Energy’s programs can continue to help improve their operations.

All Quonset businesses are invited to request a no-cost energy assessment by reaching out to RI Energy’s Andrea Moshier. Learn more about RI Energy’s energy efficiency programs for businesses here and how Quonset companies are already saving below.
