QDC Managing Director Steven King presented at Rhode Island’s inaugural Investor Conference, recently hosted by General Treasurer James Diossa.

King was glad to share that public investment in Quonset has generated billions every year in returns, benefitting all Rhode Islanders. Quonset is home to 229 companies and more than 13,000 jobs, including nearly one of every five manufacturing jobs in the state. The Business Park is ranked the #6 in the United States, and the Port of Davisville is a Top 10 auto importer in North America.

“Investing in Quonset has consistently led to continued economic growth,” King told the conference.

Ever wonder what Rhode Island will look like in 2050? QDC helped develop the state's long-term transportation plan, and we hope you'll tell us what you think. Come and weigh in on the future of our roads, bridges, public transit system, bike paths, sidewalks, ports and more.

More than 14,800 people show up for work at Quonset Business Park every day. That means that our roadway infrastructure must be able to keep up. The "Missing Move" project will better connect Rhode Islanders to the state's busiest economic hub.

Quonset's convenient, easy-to-access location is key to our success. We braved this morning's rain to break ground on the "Missing Move" construction project to add new ramps to I-95 and RI-403, making it easier than it has ever been to travel to and throughout the Business Park.
